Our brilliant collaboration with the UK’s biggest coral farm The Coral Centre is well underway. In fact we’re now ready to move from the ideation, design & manufacturing stages over to the marine testing phase with live coral!!

Needless to say we’re very excited indeed about the next steps which will involve us shipping the new CoralPod™️ prototype unit from our studio in Sandown Bay on the Isle of Wight over the Solent to the R&D facility of our good friends at The Coral Centre in Hampshire. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with how it all goes in the coming weeks and months.

Early feedback from marine biologists has been extremely encouraging, and in fact suggestions are being made for CoralPod™️ to be trialled as kelp and oyster habitat too. Watch this space for ‘Blue Carbon KelpPod™️ and OysterPod™️ becoming projects in their own right!
