Cristina Ceuca, a brilliant young upcoming wildlife documentary maker, has made a wonder short film about Artecology. Cristina, a film student at Bristol University, contacted Artecology last year saying that she wanted to make a short documentary about our ‘Compton’ Vertipools. Last month she visited our studio and Science Beach here in Sandown Bay, Isle of Wight in order to capture the making and installation of a newly made Compton Vertipool.

‘Vertipools’ the mini documentary talks to Artecology Director Ian Boyd who explains why he has chosen eco-engineering as a method to combat climate breakdown and biodiversity loss, and we follow Co-Founder Nigel George through the process of making and installing an actual Compton Vertipool, the smallest in our artificial rockpool range.
